Usage Do's and Dont's
Do's:
- Do:Prior to use check can contents to make sure you have
selected the right product for your intended application. (For more information refer to Dr.
Dust-Off's - Dusters 101)
- Do:Read the back panel warning information carefully
before using.
- Do:Clear nozzle prior to use by pulling trigger in a
series of short blasts.
- Do:Hold can in most upright position during use.
- Do:Use in a sufficiently ventilated area.
- Do:Contact a GP/Doctor in cases of: Inhalation, Contact with
Eyes, or Skin or call NHS Direct on 08 45 46 47.
Don'ts:
- Don't:Concentrate or directly inhale contents as it may be
fatal.
- Don't:Tilt excessively or Shake can before or during use.
- Why:Because doing so may cause the contents of the can to be
dispensed in its liquid format, which may cause frostbite on contact with skin. It can also
cause plastic components to discolor.
- Don't:Leave in direct sunlight, enclosed vehicles, or expose
to temperatures above 120 F (49 C).
- Why:Because overheating of the product may cause the can to
burst.
- Don't:Use near potential ignition sources, open flames, or
spark producing equipment (for example, paper shedders).
- Why:Although Dust-Off dusters are NOT defined as flammable,
under certain extreme circumstances the product can be ignited.
